I would say that it’s a shame to carry around my products every day, but a girl has to keep herself looking good at all times. You never know who you are going to meet. This is just what fills my bag on a regular day. I cannot stress it enough, but makeup is fun. No longer is it a taboo subject especially in the religious communities, or just exclusive to celebrities but everyone is using makeup in some form. I can recall being “instructed” to not wear any form of makeup or nail polish to church. Now you can turn on any gospel TV show and well-respected artists are wearing makeup. Even the ones that would be considered a vet in the game of Gospel music. I’m not saying that this gives you a pass or an excuse to wear makeup I am only saying that makeup is the trend and I don’t see it going anywhere except up from the $230 billion industry that it was reported to be by Forbes magazine in 2006. So yes, I’m excited and will continually be excited about great products that are offered by our beauty industry, especially those cosmetics that are safe for all wearers. So you wanna peak inside my makeup bag… here goes
The most important essential items that women should carry is a pressed powder compact. This helps to combat the shine throughout the day, and of course your lipstick, and eyeliner. My eyeliner on the lower lash line never lasts all day. I’m just one of those people who has teary eyes, generally from laughing so my liner wears out quickly. Hey what can I say, laughter is food for the soul. Have a good one ladies and gents and let’s pay it forward with laughter. Muah!
